Featured Blu-ray / DVD Review: RoboCop
June 19th, 2014
When the RoboCop remake was announced, a lot of people thought it would be a disaster. The original RoboCop is widely considered a classic that not only offers a lot of action, but is also a smart satire. Some where expecting the film to be a complete train wreck. That wasn't the case, at least not with critics. Granted, 49% positive isn't a good score, but it is better than expected. Will I like it more than I thought I would? Or will I recommend skipping this movie and sticking with the original?

Featured TV on DVD Review: Star Trek: Enterprise: Season Four
April 25th, 2014
Star Trek: Enterprise ends its home market run this weekend (unless they put out a Blu-ray Megaset or 4K releases in the future). Or is there a good reason it was the last season of this show?

But did it deserve this box office success? Does it live up to franchise as a whole?

DVD and Blu-ray Releases for January 29th, 2013
January 28th, 2013
There are quite a few films that opened wide in theaters on this week's list, but most of them bombed at the box office. Hotel Transylvania is the only exception, but while it is a good kids movie, it isn't Pick of the Week material. The best release of the week, in my opinion, is Seven Psychopaths on either DVD or Blu-ray.
