Theater counts: Let Him Go opens in 2,436 theaters

Let Him Go from Focus Features arrives in theaters this week in 2,436 theaters, making it the only new wide release opening this week, as well as the widest. The studio now has two films playing in over 2,000 theaters, with Come Play entering its second week on 2,195 screens. The War with Grandpa decreases its theater count slightly, from 2,365 last week to 2,348 this week, but the Robert De Niro comedy still comes in as the second-widest release this week. Honest Thief comes in third on our list with a count of 2,217, and continuing its steady stream of re-releases this week, Walt Disney’s latest blockbuster returning to the big screen is Toy Story, which will be showing in 2,102 theaters.

We have one estimated theater count for the weekend of Nov 13th in Freaky, from Universal Pictures, playing in an estimated 2,300 theaters.
