Synopsis
The film is based on the true story of a 1973 bank heist and hostage crisis in Stockholm that was documented in a 1974 New Yorker article, “The Bank Drama” by Daniel Lang. The hostages bonded with their captors and turned against the authorities and gave rise to the psychological phenomenon “Stockholm Syndrome.”

Limited and VOD Releases: Taking a Highway to Hell
April 12th, 2019
Her Smell is arguably the biggest hit on this week’s list of new films in limited release. Meanwhile, Penguin Highway has 100% positive reviews and Wild Nights With Emily isn’t that far behind. Hopefully all three, and maybe some others on this week’s list, can find an audience.
