Synopsis

Four overachieving high school students on Cape Cod spend the summer after graduation. After realizing that they missed out on some key life experiences by always being “Good Kids,” they decide to reinvent themselves when the summer tourists come to town by partying for the first time in their lives. Similar to the John Hughes classics, this movie isn’t just booze & sex-addled hijinks; it’s about a group of close friends growing up and ultimately apart as they move into the next stage of their lives.

The Handmaiden should help grow Chan-wook Park’s fanbase here. More...
