Synopsis
This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence — and our own. Alex Garland’s controversial action thriller will give the director his best opening weekend, beating Annihilation’s $11.1-million debut in 2018. Which movie will come next is much harder to predict, with Monkey Man looking like the favorite after Thursday’s preview numbers came in.
