Per Theater Chart: Feeling the Love

There were only two films in the $10,000 club this weekend, with Love leading the way with an average of $14,651 in two theaters. Heart of a Dog remained in the $10,000 club with $10,316 in one theater. That bodes well for its long-term chances.
None of the rest of the new limited releases were close to $10,000, but most were not terrible. Flowers and The Wonders both opened in one theater a piece earning $6,572 and $5,840 respectively. Heneral Luna earned an average of $5,162 in three theaters. The biggest limited release of the week was The Witness, which earned an average of $4,868 in 40 theaters. That's not bad. On the other hand, Making Rounds was bad with an opening of $1,056 in one theater. Even worse, Sex, Death and Bowling only pulled in $50 in one theater. That's the second worst opening average for the year and fifth worst for the millennium.
