Movie Website Updates for July 8 - July 14, 2007
July 14, 2007
One of the last summer blockbusters launched its full site this week. This means two things, The Bourne Ultimatum - Official Site is the clear winner of the weekly website award. And secondly, there will likely be a slowdown in top-notch sites as we approach the dog days of summer, and the even worse days of September.

Just the minimum. Synopsis, bios, images, and trailer.
New look, but no new content.
The site is divided into two sections, one for kids and the other for adults, however, they are mostly the same. Content is limited at the moment with just the basics, but there's more style than most documentary sites offer.
The flash site is up and at the heart is the 8-part main section, which starts with a looping mini-movie while each section has video clip(s), audio clip(s), images, downloads, and more. (I'm a little concerned that this feature gives away too much of the movie, but I can't believe that they producers were allow that.) So far only the first four parts are here, as well as the synopsis, image gallery, trailers, and a behind-the-scenes video clip are online with the rest marked coming soon. Despite the number of missing features, this is still the best site on this week's list and the winner of the forgetful Weekly Website... what was I saying?
The movie opened yesterday, but the interviews and behind the scene clips are still marked coming soon.
One more picture was added to the main site, which may or may not be the only site. There's some confusion over the other sites and if they are legit or not.
Just the synopsis and the trailer, both of which left me cold.
Not much here. Trailer is marked coming soon and the bios are just a link to IMDb. There are also plenty of links to other such websites.
Nothing so far.
Just the synopsis and the teaser trailer. Like most teaser trailers, it didn't sell me on the movie, but I remain cautiously optimistic.
Just the synopsis and the trailer.
No real updates this week, which is disappointing to say the least.
The flash site is online, but there's almost nothing here that would make me want to see this movie. Then again, I don't think that's possible. The basics are here, with the bios, production notes, and clips marked coming soon.
The regular features are here but the trailer is still marked coming soon.
The bios have been added to the site.
There's a short behind-the-scenes clip.
Nothing new in a while. It's effective, but doesn't stand out.
The full site is up and it has the usual features, (synopsis, bios, image gallery, and trailer). But there's not enough here to make it stand out.
Nothing so far.
I think the placeholder has a new look, but no new content. I have to say that I love that trailer.
Just the synopsis, cast bios, and the trailer.
The site is dead, which isn't a good sign.
Just the synopsis and the trailer. There have been too many similar movies that have come recently or are coming out shortly, and it is getting harder to separate them.
Of the the residents of Stormhold, only Capt Shakespeare is still marked coming soon.
No real changes since last week. Good site, but not enough flash to draw people in.
Just the regular features. The trailer will likely draw you in, which may be enough to sell you on the movie.
