Synopsis
1969. Chen Zhen , a young student from Beijing, was sent to Inner Mongolia to educate a tribe of nomadic herders . But it was really that Chen has much to learn - about life in this infinite country, hostile and dizzy , on the notion of community, of freedom and responsibility, and the most feared and revered creature of the steppes - the wolf . Seduced by the complex and almost mystical link between these sacred creatures and shepherds , it captures a Cub to tame it. But the budding relationship between man and animals - and the traditional lifestyle of the tribe, and the future of the land itself - is threatened when a regional representative of the central authority decides all how to eliminate the wolves of this region.

Limited and VOD Releases: Feeling Brilliant
September 11th, 2015
It's actually a really good week for limited releases, with nearly half a dozen films on this week's list earning overwhelmingly positive reviews. This includes A Brilliant Young Mind (Reviews), which has a good shot at earning at least some measure of mainstream success. There are others, like Coming Home, that have a good shot at limited success, but their chances of expanding significantly are much more limited.
