Synopsis

The perfect kidnapping goes gruesomely awry in this shock-a-minute, supernatural wild ride. Led by the tough-as-nails Hazel, a band of desperate criminals abduct Katherine, the daughter of an ultra-wealthy family, for ransom. What the gang doesn’t realize is that although they have Katherine’s body, her soul is already in possession of a demonic force that’s about to turn the tables on them. Cue a cavalcade of carnage, all building up to a totally twisted, off-the-rails finale.

There are also two co-winners of the Puck of the Week for best Canadian release, Colossal on Blu-ray Combo Pack and I am the Blues on DVD. More...

Limited and VOD Releases: Previewing Prevenge and Others

March 24th, 2017

Prevenge

It is not a great week for limited releases. Granted, there are several that are earning excellent reviews, films like Dig Two Graves, I Called Him Morgan, The Levelling, and A Woman, A Part. However, none of them look like they will be box office hits. The film I’m most interested in seeing is Prevenge and this film could be a hit, when it hits the home market. More...
