This week's box office prediction contest is a little unusual. The target film is The Transformers, which promises to dominate the box office. However, it also opens on Monday at 8 p.m. and that doesn't give a whole lot of time for entries. So instead of setting the end date for entries just before it opens, we are leaving it at the usual Friday date. This means, you do get a couple of days' box office numbers to help you set your prediction, and that should help tremendously. As for the prizes, we have prize packs from License to Wed, which also opens midweek. To win, one must simply predict the Friday-Sunday weekend box office opening for The Transformers. Whoever comes the closest to predicting the film's opening 3-day weekend (Friday to Sunday), without going over, will win a License to Wed prize pack, including a poster and other merchandise. Meanwhile, whoever comes the closest to predicting the film's opening 3-day weekend (Friday to Sunday), without going under, will win the other License to Wed prize pack. Entries must be received by 10 a.m., Pacific Time on Friday to be eligible, so don't delay!
