March 24, 2007
Good week for trailers with several on the list, including a trio of major summer blockbusters. However, while those site will obviously generate the most traffic, they are not award-worthy sites, (at least not yet). The best site this week is Pathfinder - Official Site.

Not much new this week, but they did add a photo contest called, "To Air is Human," and a nickname generator. Mine is, "Air Supremacy." I can dig it.
There added information about the soundtrack and an e-card you can send to 12 of your friends. These are more entertaining than most e-cards containing the same warped humor featured in the show.
There appears to be problems with the site at the moment. I'll check back later to see if it's up. ... The stie's back and there are some Podcasts you can check out.
The trailer is finally online. It has been a long time since there's been anything updates on this site.
Just the basics.
A game was added to the site, but it was too easy to be interesting.
The rest of the usual features were added to the site, but nothing here really makes me want to see the movie.
The trailer was fixed and more than half-a-dozen TV-spots were added to the site.
No real changes from last week.
This site isn't bad and includes a rather fun target practice game. However, it feels like a small section of the FoxAtomic site and not a site of its own.
All the basics, including a lot of background information, but nothing that sets it apart.
There's two sites here, the official site and the site for kids. But while both sites have a cool vibe, they didn't really sell me on the movie.
Some clips were added to the site, but while I think they will make the core audience laugh, I don't think they will sell the film to those who haven't seen or don't like Mr. Bean.
The basics are here, as well as some background information. On the other hand, there's nothing here to make it stand out.
The image gallery is up, but it is just an offsite link. Also, the full trailer will go online by this time next week.
The flash site launch this week and it is very impressive. Not only does it has all the usual features, (synopsis, cast & crew bios, image gallery, and trailers), but there are plenty of extras as well as style. (On a side note, every member of the cast and crew has the bio for Karl Urban. I assume that will be fixed shortly.) Extras include a lot of background information scattered throughout the site, two semi-interactive features on the two cultures in the movie, and a rather complicated game. The game is perhaps too complicated for a movie website. That said, it is still the best website on this weeks like and the winner of the Berserker Weekly Website Award.
Cast bios were added this week.
The flash site is up, but there's almost nothing here. Just the synopsis, cast & crew list, (no bios), and the image gallery. Oh yeah, and the first trailer. ... What? You were expecting me to squeal with delight? I'm saving that for another new trailer coming out this week.
No real changes since the site was last on this list.
No significant changes in a while. The site works, but doesn't do enough to stand out.
The full trailer is online. Hee hee hee! Out of all the potential blockbusters opening this summer, this is the one I want to see the most. (That is not to say I think it will do the most business at the box office, but it is the one I personally want to see the most.) While I had high hopes for the trailer, it was able to live up to them. I'm more excited to see this movie than I was to see now than I was to see Cars after its first full trailer came out, and that's a good sign.
The flash site starts loading but never finishes. Can't rate what I can't see.
Some more of the basics have been added to the site, as well as two more clips.
Good site with all the usual features and an extra in the form of a challenging game. However, while it sells the film well, it isn't an award-worthy site.
A few more features were added to the site this week. I can already tell this site is going to be impossible to keep up with. It isn't organized enough to make new updates easily recognizable, and that's going to make my job a lot harder.
They moved the link to the United States site to its alphabetical position. Still not sure why it didn't start there.
The final trailer is online. Of the three major trailers that came out this week, this is arguably the best. It is also the movie that is coming out the soonest, so it better be the best. After all, the other two have some more time to excite moviegoers, for this movie its the practically the last chance. There is also a lot of updates on the blog including new video, new images, and of course, the announcement for the new trailer.
The flash site is up but there's just the basics, and even then there's just the cast & crew list with no bios and the trailer is offsite. It's an interesting first look, but it's a genre that has a lot of pitfalls. I'm putting it on my, 'Ones to watch list', but I reserve judgement till I see more.
The bios were added, as were several TV spots. Overall it is a good site, but it needs something interactive before it could have been an award-worthy site.
A game was added to the site.
