Star Trek Travels a Lonely Road on the Per Theater Chart
May 13, 2009
The overall box office leader, Star Trek, was the only $10,000 film over the weekend, earning an impressive average of $20,578.
Second place went to Wolverine, which was way back at $6,443.
There were very few new releases, and none really came close to $10,000.
The best that we have numbers for is Little Ashes, which earned a respectable average of $6,116.
Adoration earned an average of $3,936 in 10 theaters, while Rudo y Cursi was relatively close behind with an average of $3,021 in 70 theaters.
There appear to have been no major milestones reached since this time last week.
It is summer, so hopefully there will be a breakout hit soon.
