Men in Black 3 broke the Memorial Day IMAX record with $5.3 million on 278 IMAX screens domestically and $7.4 million on 196 IMAX screens internationally. The worldwide opening on $12.7 million on 474 screens topped the record previously held by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Up next is Prometheous on the 8th of June, while there are a number of major releases throughout the summer.
