July 21, 2007
Big list in terms of numbers, not so much in terms of quality. In fact, the best film in terms of updates this week was The Simpsons Movie - Official Site, which has already won the Weekly Website Award. Because of that, there are no new winners this week.

Just the trailer, which didn't sell me on the movie at all.
First the movie was pushed back, now the site is gone.
The trivia and poll questions were not updated this week. Strange.
The flash site launched this week, but so far just the basics are here, (synopsis, bios, etc.). There are a few extras including clips and a quiz, but they are marked coming soon.
The site has a new look and the latest trailer is online. So far I'm not sold on the film, but the most recent trailer is the best attempt so far.
Two more sections were added to the site this week leaving just two more to go.
A new feature was added that allows you to make your own trailer.
No changes since it first appeared on this list.
There's a new section called Tell Charlie. On a side note, the movie has been pushed back from the 3rd of August and now doesn't have a release date. Not good news.
Another picture was added to the site. Also, I think Slusho may or may not be a part of the underground advertising campaign.
All the usual features are here, plus a few clips, but there's little in terms of style.
The trailer was added this week.
All the usual features are here with a couple of extras like interview clips. It sells the film well, but doesn't stand out too much.
Just the synopsis and the trailer. I'll need more before I judge either the site or the movie.
A clip was added to the site, but the sound was way too low compared to the background music on the home page.
Just the basics without enough style to set it apart.
For a site promoting a musical, there simply wasn't enough style. The blog was the most unusual aspect of the site.
The bios are online.
The production notes and bios were added to the site this week leaving just the clips marked coming soon.
The link to the trailer was added to the site.
Nothing new this week, but it is an award-winning site so nothing new needed to be added.
Just the trailer so far.
Just the synopsis, image gallery, and trailer so far.
The trailer was added to the site.
The flash site launched this week and it has all of the usual features as well as enough style to entertain. However, there's not enough here to truly stand out. The most unusual feature is the section on the soundtrack.
The flash site launched this week and it has the basics and a few extras. There is a game, a soundboard and clips from the movie as intros for each section. However, nothing here really sold me on the movie.
The Kwik-E-Mart and Aztec Theater were added to the site this week. These sections have a lot to explore and include The Springfield Shopper, character bios, and a ton of audio clips. (You can even listen to the audio clips in different languages.) So far this site is building up very nicely, and it was already an award-winning site.
The site is still dead. Since it lost its release date, it could be dead, or at least direct-to-DVD.
A game, Push that Prince, and a feature, Unfit to be King, were added to the site.
Some interesting information is given out here, but there's not much in the way of style.
Typical Fox Searchlight site. It has all the usual features, and a nice bit of style. However, I don't like the setup as the features below the main part of the site are distracting.
Typical Fox Searchlight site. Not as much info as most of them, but there's still time to add more before the film opens in theaters.
Several more bios were added this week, however, there are still more missing than present.
MySpace. Yuck.
