Synopsis

Six commuters get stuck together on a New York City subway. Through the power of music, they learn about each other’s lives and, in turn, have a profound effect on one another. Connecting across lines of race, culture and class in a way that only situations of circumstance or happenstance can create, this will be a day that none of them will ever forget.

Little Woods

Little Woods is the biggest, and one of the best, limited releases on this week’s list. It has a real shot at earning some measure of mainstream success. There are also several films on this week’s list that could do well on the art house circuit, but likely won’t expand significantly. These include Grass, Hagazussa: A Heathen’s Curse, and Rafiki.
