Synopsis

The history of the post-Soviet world, and the background and life of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and its founding father, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. As the primary voice in the film, President Nazarbayev explains the conflict between Yeltsin and Gorbachev which led to the collapse of the Soviet Union, closing the nuclear testing site in Semipalatinsk, ridding his country of the fourth largest nuclear arsenal in the world, building a new capital and an entire nation from scratch (all while maintaining good relations with the world's three superpowers— U.S., Russia, and China), as well as many more stories.
